It's a girl, no it's a boy, no wait ... which is it?

Do you pride yourself on being able to tell by a cat's face, build and general demeanor which gender it is?

​A friend from London and I have been here for a few days with the objective of trapping and neutering males. The weather has not been good to us as it has rained non-stop and kept the cats hidden away in dry but falling down buildings. With the exception of Zorro, who we did trap and take to the vet. The vet, by the way, was pretty surprised that said cat weighed in at 5 kilos. I guess that's a lot for a feral.

​The gender confusion was not to do with Zorro, who anyone can tell is a big fella - just have a look.

This looks like a boy to me! And I was wrong, as evidenced by 'him' appearing a few days ago heavily pregnant... with Frank Sinatra in tow (presumably the father).

So I leave you with another challenge. The young cat below - yes 'it' is almost a clone of the above - has been visiting us lately and I have taken 'it' to the vet today to be neutered. I had my thoughts about gender. Now I know the answer. What do you think?
